Revolut announces exclusive customer event headlined by Charli XCX to celebrate 50 million milestone

London, United Kingdom, 22nd October 2024: Revolut, the global financial technology company, is to mark its upcoming 50 million customer milestone with a two-day, one-of-a-kind experiential event exclusively for Revolut customers. Celebrating revolutionary figures who have challenged norms and pushed boundaries, The Revolutionaries will feature a headline performance from Charli XCX and an interactive session with Revolut founder, Nik Storonsky and entrepreneur, Steven Bartlett.

The multi-faceted event, hosted at London’s Outernet on 22nd-23rd November, will give attendees unprecedented access to the biggest names in music, fashion, sport, gaming, travel, entertainment and business.

Ahead of her hotly anticipated sold out UK tour, Charli XCX will close the two-day extravaganza, her first live London performance since the release of her latest chart-topping album ‘Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat’. For budding entrepreneurs, Revolut founder Nik Storonsky will host an interactive session with entrepreneur Steven Bartlett, offering hopeful founders guidance and advice. 

Other key moments include a rare opportunity to play against the face of Valorant, TenZ; become an artist for the day with Sophie Tea to bring her ‘grow’ exhibition to life; and hear from Drew Binsky, the vlogger who has travelled to every country in the world, on how we can be better adventurers. 

As a celebration of Revolut’s upcoming milestone, tickets will be available exclusively to new and existing Revolut customers on 6th November. Metal and Ultra users will get sent a unique code to redeem tickets to their preferred session on a first come, first served basis. Customers on Premium, Plus and Standard plans must upgrade to Metal or Ultra to receive their code. New customers who sign up through The Revolutionaries landing page will be entered into a ballot for a chance to win tickets. 

For those that aren’t able to get tickets, or are unlucky in the ballot, the event will be broadcast across YouTube and other streaming platforms.

The upcoming milestone is the latest in a bumper year for Revolut, including the completion of its secondary share sale valuing the company at $45 billion and securing its UK banking licence with restrictions from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). 

In 2024, Revolut continued to bring new and revolutionary innovations to its consumers – including becoming the first financial institution to launch eSIM to help prevent high data roaming charges and adding RevPoints, the first pan-European debit card loyalty programme rewarding customers on their everyday spending. In June, Revolut announced it will move its global headquarters to the YY London building in the centre of Canary Wharf, committing to a ten year lease and increasing its global headcount by 40% by the end of 2024.
