Customer onboarding has changed significantly in the past decade, with many firms unveiling intuitive and simple programs inspired by the customer service quality seen in pure tech firms. Joining their ranks this month is Citi’s award-winning digital banking platform, which will replace their legacy paper and courier based documentation process. CitiDirect BE® Digital Onboarding is a digital platform equipped with fast-track processing, electronic signatures, and in-build data assets designed to complete KYC and account opening requirements.
Through the new solution, clients will be able to complete account openings within two days. In addition to saving time, clients will no longer have to interact with as many touchpoints, and will be able to manage their account opening processes with greater flexibility, and increased information.
CitiDirect BE®, which offers biometrics, world class security and controls, and machine learning, is currently available for institutional clients in North America and across six countries in Western Europe. Plans to roll out across the rest of EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America are also said to be underway.
